Instagram Reels ads were launched. Is the ideal place on Instagram to reach people who don’t follow you or your brand. These ads will help businesses reach larger audiences, allowing people to discover new and inspiring content from brands and creators.
Reels ads will be full-screen and vertical, similar to Stories ads, and will appear between individual Reels from other users. Like regular Reels content, these ads will repeat and can last up to 30 seconds. People can comment, like, watch, save and share Reel ads.
They will then appear in the most popular places to access Reels content. This includes the Reels tab, Stories, Explore and in your Feed. Once a user accesses a Reel from any of these places, they will enter a viewer that exclusively displays vertically scrolling Reels.
Just like any other ad on Instagram, the audience also has control over the Reels Ads they see. If people see an ad they don’t like, they can skip it or tap the post’s menu to hide it.
